Ready to get paid for your travel assignment? At Nomad Health, we've made it easy for our travelers to get paid for their hard work. Here, we've answered the most common questions our travelers have about the pay process, including tips for setting up your secure direct deposit account with Nomad.
How often do Nomad Health travelers get paid?
Nomad Health travel nurses and travel allied health professionals get paid on a weekly basis. The Nomad Health work week runs from Sunday to Saturday, and clinicians receive payment the following Friday. Payday is every Friday.
Can Nomad Health travelers set up a direct deposit?
Yes, Nomad Health travelers can set up direct deposit. Clinicians are able to set up their direct deposit during their onboarding experience via the program Workday. Direct deposit information can be updated once it’s been submitted.
Does Nomad offer Guaranteed Work Week (GWW)?
Yes, Nomad Health offers GWW to its travel clinicians (sometimes referred to as Guaranteed Hours). GWW is paid when a facility cancels a shift or reduces hours. If you feel like you’re in a situation where GWW applies, talk to your Nomad Navigator!

Is timecard submission done exclusively through the Nomad mobile app?
No, timecards can be submitted a number of ways: via the Nomad app, a paper timesheet, or via the facility VMS. However, the app is the easiest and quickest way to submit a timecard, so it’s the recommended method.
When are Nomad Health timecards due?
Timecards must be submitted by 12pm EST Monday.
Can a correction to a timecard be made after it’s submitted?
Yes, corrections to Nomad Health timecards can be made after it’s been submitted. To request a change, travelers can use the messaging system within the Nomad Health app, or email payroll@nomadhealth.com. Once the timecard is reopened, the clinician can make corrections and resubmit it.
What happens if the timecard is submitted late?
Late timecard submissions may result in processing delays, and impact on-time payment.
